1. soy sauce - 1/2 cup
2. mirin - 1/4 cup
3. caster sugar - 1/4 cup
4. honey - 1 tablespoon
5. sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
6. finely grated ginger - 2 teaspoons
7. garlic clove, thinly sliced - 1
8. beef rump steak - 800g
9. Alfa One rice bran oil - 1 tablespoon
10. Cooked sushi rice and thinly sliced green onion, to serve - 1
Cara Memasak :

1. Place soy sauce, mirin, sugar, honey, sesame oil, ginger and garlic in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low.
2. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature.
3. Pour soy sauce mixture into a large, shallow ceramic dish. Add steak. Turn to coat. Cover. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
4. Drain beef, reserving marinade. Heat rice bran oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook steak for 3 to 4 minutes each side (for medium) or until cooked to your liking. Transfer steak to a plate.
5. Cover loosely with foil. Set aside for 5 minutes to rest. Add reserved marinade to pan. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes or until reduced slightly.
6. Thinly slice steak. Serve with rice, green onion and drizzled with sauce.
